From my early teens I have always had an interest in photography. I successfully completed the prestigious three year diploma course in Professional Photography at Ealing School of Art and Photography.
I went on to work freelance in the Film and Television industry for more than thirty years as a focus puller. During this time I used my skills in stills photography both on set and during my ‘resting periods’ between contracts.
I have been exceptionally privileged to have worked in an occupation that was not only great fun, but also allowed me to meet a variety of individuals from the poorest farm workers in the African bush to British Royalty in their private apartments in both Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.
My work ethic stems from advice that one of my tutors gave me more years ago than I care to remember:-
“If you ever feel you have become a ‘Professional’ photographer - Stop - Give up - Start another occupation!”
